Exciting- 5/365

I've decided to try and keep up a 52 new recipe challenge this year- and this is the first recipe- Chicken and Sausage cobbler. It's exciting because it's the start of a new challenge that I have failed with before and this time I hope to complete it and find some new favourites along the way. This one looks delicious.

These are the new books that joined us at Christmas along with the kindle- which will have a huge job on it's hands to totally convert me. For a start it can't cope with these types of books! But I am trying to stop buying paperbacks and have plenty of free books to try on the kindle!

The nice weather in October has confused a lot of our plants. I have the fuschia and the rhodedendrum out. This camelia usually flowers at least a couple of times a year including January. It has been in bloom all through December and has lots more waiting to bloom. It's my favourite plant- but unfortunately it is too close to the house and think it ought to be cut down. I keep putting it off- and then when it blooms so prettily when we have all the grey weather I don't like to consider not having it in the garden!

I've signed up for 2 (so far!!!!!!!!!) reading challenges. I was in both last year- although I didn't record my mystery reads. Must look back and see if i managed that one last year!!!!!! They are my two favourite genres.

I am also hoping to keep up the 52 walk challenge over on UKS aswell as the 365+1 photography challenge that Suzy is running. Need to check out the UKS challenge aswell. I am hoping to join a new team on UKS to try and get scrapping more. I will try to do more of the weekly challenges.

These really are concrete monstrosities. They demolished 2 last year and can't wait until they rehouse everyone in these flats.

I've just set up a new blog for the 366 challenge. I hope to keep this up- I only managed a few weeks the last time I tried!!!!!!!
